I’d just like to focus on this actress for a segment. Jennifer Lawrence has been acting since 2006, but didn’t really blow up until 2011; when X-men: First Class was released. It was hands down her most crucial role up to that point, and yet it was still a relatively small role compared to her whole career. In X-men, Jennifer plays the main characters best friend from childhood, Raven aka Mystique. Her character is originally blue, but she’s able to change her appearance and hide behind a pretty face. Jennifer is an attractive actress and that’s honestly the only reason I thought she could play that role well. Maybe that was a factor in choosing her for the part, but now I know better.
2012 was an amazing year for this actress as she really got to shine in several leading roles. The most notable would have to be House at the End of the Street, Silver Linings Playbook and of course The Hunger Games. The great thing about all of these roles is that they’re so different, and yet she plays them all so perfectly. Jennifer has proved that she is a versatile actress and I hope to see her plenty more movies.
